Controlled Burn invites you to view the hottest art show in Reno. Introducing "Shutter Fire: Photography in Fire Arts", to be held from June 5-July 31st at Dreamers Coffee House (17 S Virginia St) in downtown Reno. In support of Reno's Inaugural Fire Arts Festival to be held July 19, view amazing art by local and regional photographers who have captured amazing and sometimes frightening interplay of humans interacting with fire. Inspired by Controlled Burn's invitation to judge this year's Fire Arts Photography contest held by Trick Concepts, a California-based company specializing in fire art fabrication and specialization, this amazing display of fire features some of the winners of this year's contest as well as honorable mentions. Local artists including Bill Kozitsky, Michael Herzog, Pat Herz, Saverio Cine, Geoffrey Nelson and Shone Jensen will also be featured with special guest Abjectphoto from New York. Dreamer's Coffee House is known for their support of local and regional artists, and we are very excited to collaborate with them on this project. This incredible show is sponsored by Great Basin Color and Conservation. Prints range from the abstract to the sublime.

FREE to attend this event, and wine and light snacks will be served. We will be burning around 8pm.
